about 3 minutes away from Granite Citadel (killing things, not running) and my best friend by the name of "Err=7" shows up

had a chance to buy a sigil for 38k.. the next day they went up to 45k and never really droped in price again (so i went 50/50 with a guildmate, 20.5k each when it droped to 41k)

Found dye in presearing and sold it for 1gp... i had no clue what it did, or what it was worth..

used a regular salvage kit on a purple rune... once again, i had no clue what purple meant

coulda gotten a 14%^50% crystalline- i offered 120 ectos +100K +27 health always 8 str req defender-about 150K, and the noob owner sold it for 120 ectos+75K+30 shards..

The most unlucky thing would definately have to be running Mineral Springs a good 30+ times with my monk in order to get the skill Shield of Judgement. Took me a good week of running that stupid place before the boss even spawned.

Second most unlucky would be running up there with my mesmer to get Ineptitude. It only took 3 days, but it was still annoying.

Third most unlucky thing would be running up to Mineral Springs with my ranger to get a collector bow and getting Err=7 just before I'm about to collect, though it only happened twice in a row, so it wasn't so bad as the other two.

Why do I get the feeling Mineral Springs hates me (if it's even possible for an area to hate someone) ?

Helping a guild mate with a mission, some guy goes AFK at the start of the mission and never returns, and the guild mate i was helping lagged out half way though the mission.. i tried to help the other guy but 3 people and a hench were not enough to win that race against the white mantle

Was doing Elona Reach and my group was literally this far (============) from gettin the last piece of the crystal to the hero, and BAM! err=7, I was so pissed, and for a while afterwards I couldn't get a good group for crap to try to finish it again.

Bought sup runes of fire and air for PvE fire/PvP air ele builds respecively.

Accidentally applied superior fire rune to max armour storms eye (instead of flame). In my defence: runes all look the same. /doh

Used expert salvage to get my rune back and got....2 piles of glittering dust.

the other day I went into FoW with a group

we had like 3 monks I think... anyways one of the monks just suddenly disappeared towards the beginning and after about half an hour he comes back and says he has to go and drops

and then the second warrior drops(I was the first) so yea, that whole run was screwed... only good drop I got was a bow that could have been worth more if it didnt have a 13 req... while one of the monks got 3 shards

of course the luckiest thing that happened was I got a green item while playing with henchies... though it was only Thorgalls Shield... but I still got a laugh

my warrior with 15k dyed balck armor, four 15^50 perfect req 9 swords, capable of doing almost any run, almost all skills unlocked, he got deleted by a weird bug..well replaced acctually with one of my old pvp chars
and anet isnt doing anythinga bout it at all

Was heading to SF with a friend to do the Kilroy quest. On the way there we kill a boss and I get a green. He asks to see it so I toss it on the ground and I get disconnected. No problem. He'll just pick it up and give it back to me when I log back on, right? Nope. We're on the same isp, both our connections dropped. Very nice timing.

I've found a total of 3 superior vigor runes in this game. All three were found before the patch so they always salvage, I lost all 3.

This game owes me some runes, me thinks.

Well, personally topping my list of "unluckiest things" is also the thing I happened to post about in "biggest jerk you've ever met" thread.

Basically in a nutshell: I went on a FOW group, an Ele/Mes complains the drops suck and then asks us on every "remains" drop to give them to him because he is not getting anything -- and when we say no, he trains the whole part of FoW by the first quest with hero on the group, effectively wiping us all out and making me lose 1 plat, all because he was a spoiled, rotten, brat.
